Team Voke Wins Lennox/Quakerdale Pro-Am-
Marshalltown, Iowa – The team of Nick Voke and his team of Lanessa Bannister, Jayme Honkomp and Taylor Wilson took home first place at the Lennox/Quakerdale on Thursday, June 15 at Elmwood Country Club. Team Voke turned in a round of 12-under-par round of 58.
The Lennox/Quakerdale Pro-Am were comprised of teams competing in an 18-Hole, Stroke Play with Open, Senior & Super Senior Division.
Team Voke carded birdies on holes 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 18; an eagle on hole 7 including a bogey on hole 17.
In addition to the team event, the Lennox/Quakerdale Pro-AM featured individual competitions for the Open, Senior and Super Senior Divisions.
Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Course and Darin Fisher of The Preserve on Rathbun Lake both tied for first place in the PGA Open Division with a 2-under-par 68.
Proehl took home first place in the PGA Senior Division. Runner-up Judd Gibb of Hanson’s Custom Golf turned in a 1-under-par round of 69.
Jim Henry of EK Golf took home first place in the PGA Super Senior Division with a 2-over-par 72. Runner up Jeff Smith of Harvest Point Golf Course turned in a round of 4-over-par 74.
