Team Schnell Leads Iowa PGA Las Vegas Pro-Am After Round 1-
Round 1 Results
Henderson, Nevada – Iowa PGA Member Curt Schnell and his team Max Lamb, Jim Hauer, Ron Coe and Mike Lamb sit atop the leaderboard following round one of the 21st annual Iowa PGA Las Vegas Pro-Am presented by Adidas and Cobra-Puma. Round one was held at Rio Secco Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada.
Schnell, of Okoboji View Golf Course, and his team accumulated 8 quota points in round one and currently have a four-point lead over the second-place team. Round one-point quotas were determined by averaging the point totals an amateur has scored for the most recent six rounds within the past five years.
Ryan McClinktock of Short Hills Country Club and his team of John Bernardi, JR Howell, Scott McClintock and Sam Willcox; Shanye Shepherd of Pinnacle Country Club and his team of Mike Peters, Jeff Krager, Shane Hammes and Marc Dalmasso were tied for second place with 4 quota points in round one.
The 21st Annual Iowa PGA Las Vegas Pro-Am moves to Southern Highlands Golf Club tomorrow for round two. The second round is a shotgun start. The Iowa PGA will provide coverage of 21st Annual Iowa PGA Las Vegas Pro-Am on iowapga.com and on its social media platforms all week.
