Team Erger Leads 22nd Annual Iowa PGA Las Vegas Pro-Am After Round 1-
Henderson, Nevada – Iowa PGA Member Matt Erger and his team Roger Hallquist, Darryl Johnson, Brett Wagner and Steve Hageman sit atop the leaderboard following round one of the 22nd annual Iowa PGA Las Vegas Pro-Am presented by Adidas and Cobra-Puma. Round one was held at Rio Secco Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada.
Erger, of Airport National Golf Course, and his team accumulated 14 quota points in round one and currently have a two-point lead over the second-place team. Round one-point quotas were determined by averaging the point totals an amateur has scored for the most recent six rounds within the past five years.
Erin Strieck of Pinnacle Country Club and her team of Kevin Lohmeyer, Jeff Overson, John Minyard and David VanDerGinst accumulated 12 quota points in round one.
The 22nd Annual Iowa PGA Las Vegas Pro-Am moves to SouthShore Country Club tomorrow for round two. The second round is a shotgun start. The Iowa PGA will provide coverage of 22nd Annual Iowa PGA Las Vegas Pro-Am on iowapga.com and on its social media platforms all week.
