McMillan Won Iowa Women’s PGA Professional Championship-
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Morgan McMillan of Oneota Golf & Country Club won the Iowa Women’s PGA Professional Championship on Thursday, August 17 at Cedar Rapids Country Club. Format for this event is an 18-hole stroke play. McMillan turned in a winning total of 87, 15-over-par to capture the Iowa PGA Women’s Professional Championship.

McMillan carded a birdie on hole 16; bogeys on holes 2, 4, 8, 9, 11, 12, 17 and 18 including double bogeys on holes 1, 3 and 14. Sherry Newsome of Indian Creek Country Club was runner-up, finishing at 88, 16-over-par.

Also participated Tess Goudy of Iowa PGA, Sarah Bidney of Hyperion Field Golf Club and Sharnae Winters of Hyperion Field Golf Club.
