Junior Academy Stroke Play Event- LEADERBOARD
Cedar Falls, Iowa – Tracy Vest of Lake House Sports won the Individual Junior Academy Stroke Play event on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course. Vest all turned in 3-under-par round of 69.
Vest carded birdies on holes 1, 8 and 14; an eagle on hole 17 including bogeys on holes 4 and 16.
There was also a team event where Professionals were paired with Junior Academy participants for a fun team event. The Junior Golfers played a best shot (scramble) and the Professionals played their own ball. The team score was the better score of the two scores (1-best ball).
The teams led by Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Course; Jacob Bemel of Pheasant Ridge Golf Course; Adam Luehmann of Beaver Hills Country Club and Tracy Vest of Lake House Sports all tied for first place in the Junior Academy Stroke Play Team event by shooting a 7-under par round of 65.

Junior Academy Senior Stroke Play Event- LEADERBOARD
Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Course won the Individual Junior Academy Senior Stroke Play event on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course. Proehl turned in a 5-under-par round of 67 to capture the win. Proehl carded birdies on holes 1, 3, 10, 12, 15 and 17 including a bogey on hole 4.
John Bermel of Pheasant Ridge Golf Course won the Super Senior Division with a 4-under-par round of 68.
There was also a team event where Professionals were paired with Junior Academy participants for a fun team event. The Junior Golfers played a shambles (choose best tee shot) and the Professionals played their own ball. The team score was two best balls of four.
Bermel and his team of Kaden Kopsa, Will Jacobs, Bree Stegall and Taylor Rasmussen won the Junior Academy Senior Stroke Play Team event by shooting 13-under-par 131.
