Genesis Pro-Am Recap-
Quad Cities – The Iowa PGA and Genesis Health Systems conducted a Pro-Am fundraiser at Davenport Country Club in Pleasant Valley, Iowa and TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois on Monday, August 7.
The format for each event will be 18-Hole, Individual Stableford with Open, Senior & Super Senior Division. Genesis will supply amateurs.
Davenport Country Club – Results
The team of Sam Sacquitne of Beaver Hills Country Club and his team from IBEW (Cory Bergfeld, John Callas, Scott Verschoore and Trent Fletcher) took home first place at the Davenport Country Club. Team IBEW turned in 45 Stableford Points.
Team IBEW carded an eagle on hole 2; birdies on holes 1, 3, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 including a bogey on hole 6.
Judd Gibb of Hanson’s Custom Golf took home first place in the Open Division with 29 Stableford Points. Gibb carded birdies on holes 3, 11, 13 and 15; an eagle on hole 9 including a bogey on hole 2. Runner-up had a tie with Chris Black of Hickory Grove Golf Course and Sam Sacquitne of Beaver Hills Country Club both turned in 27 Stableford Points.
Gibb took home first place in the Senior Division. Runner-up Black turned in 27 Stableford Points.
Dave Ranney took home first place in the Super Senior Division with 14 Stableford Points.

The team of David Gantt of Des Moines Driving Range and his team from Quad Corp/Meduit (Brad Muller, Ryan DeClerck, Dustin Livengood and Brent Haydon) took home first place at the TPC Deere Run. Team Quad Corp/Meduit turned in 50 Stableford Points.
Team Quad Corp/Meduit carded birdies on holes 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14 and 16 including eagles on holes 2 and 17.
Tracy Vest of Lake House Sports took home first place in the Open Division & Senior Division with 32 Stableford Points. Vest carded birdies on hole 2, 4, 10, 14, 16, 17 and 18. John Bermel of Pheasant Ridge Golf Course took home second place in both the Open & Senior Divisions turning in 31 Stableford Points.
Bermel took home first place in the Super Senior Division. Runner-up Gantt turned in 13 Stableford Points.
