Bermel Places T52nd at National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Championship-
Riverside, Iowa – One of our Iowa Members competed on November 16-19, 2023 at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Jacob Bermel of Pheasant Ridge Golf Course competed and placed T52nd place overall.
***Round One***
Bermel in his first round he carded birdies on holes 6, 10 and 12; an eagle on hole 16; bogeys on holes 3 and 15 including double bogeys on holes 1, 4, 5 and 17 which placed him T72nd place. His first-round total score was 77 5-over-par.
***Round Two***
Bermel in his second round he carded birdies on holes 3 and 10 including bogeys on holes 6, 9, 12 and 14 which placed him T57th place. His second-round total score was 74 2-over-par.
***Round Three***
Bermel in his third round he carded birdies on holes 7 and 16 including bogeys on holes 4, 15, 17 and 18 which placed him T42nd place. His third-round total score was 74 2-over-par.
***Final Round***
Bermel in his final round he carded birdies on holes 1 and 4 including bogeys on holes 2, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 18. His four-day total scores was 77-74-74-76=301 , 13-under-par and finished in T52nd place.
