2020 PGA Tournament Series Event #3
Event #3 – Four of our Iowa PGA Members competed December 7- 8, 2020 in the PGA Tournament Series on the Wanamaker Course. Jeff Schmid of Brown Deer Golf Club, Judd Gibb of Lakeside Municipal Golf Course, Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Course and David Lawrence of Davenport Country Club all competed Monday and Tuesday at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Schmid’s first round he carded birdies on holes 1, 15 and 16 including bogeys on holes 4, 6, 8, 11, 13 and 18 which placed him tied for tied for sixty-fifth place. Schmid’s second round he carded birdies on holes 1, 2 and 13 including bogeys on holes 9, 10, 11 and 18 with an eagle on hole 16 which placed him tied for thirtieth place. Schmid’s two-day total 75+71=146.
Gibb’s first round he carded bogeys on holes 6, 17 and 18 which placed him tied for 61st place. Gibb’s second round he carded bogeys on holes 4, 5, 8, 11 and 15 including a birdie on hole 7 which placed him tied for fifty-third place. Gibb’s two-day total 75+76=151.
Proehl’s first round he carded birdies on holes 3, 6, 7 and 11 including a bogey on hole 17 which placed him tied for 25th place. Proehl’s second round he carded double bogeys on holes 8, 10 and 18 including bogeys on holes 11, 12, 14, 15 and 16 with a birdie on hole 13 which placed him tied for sixty-third place. Proehl’s two-day total 69+84=153.
Lawrence’s first round he carded birdies on holes 9, 15 and 16 including a double bogey on hole 1 with a bogey on hole 3 which placed him tied for 55th place. Lawrence’s second round he carded bogeys on holes 5, 7, 8 and 10 including double bogeys on holes 14 and 18 which placed him tied for sixty-third place. Lawrence’s two-day total 72+81=153.
