Iowa PGA Youth Player Development Award
Description:
While this honor should be based on a professional’s entire record, emphasis should be placed on his/her performance and achievements over the past two years. Nominee should also promote junior golf throughout the section. The following guidelines are used to determine nominees for this prestigious award:• Number of events hosted for junior golf
• Length of junior golf season
• Teacher / Student ratio in junior golf program
• Size and success of nominee’s junior program over the last two years
• Effect junior golf has on the facility and in the community
• Time dedicated to junior golf
• Other Section awards or community involvement activities
Requirements:
• Candidate must be well regarded as a model PGA Member
• Demonstration and acknowledgement as an individual of outstanding leadership and strong moral character.
Eligibility:
The following persons are ineligible:
• Apprentices or Associates
Other Considerations:
The Iowa PGA Award will be presented at the All Star Pro Golf Awards Luncheon Ceremony, held in conjunction with the Iowa PGA Annual Meeting. Tuesday, October 24th.
