Welcome Jacob Hesner
Riverside, Iowa – Jacob Hesner is a familiar face the past two seasons with the Iowa PGA. Hesner started as an intern the summer of 2020 and he came back as the Tournament Assistant Intern the summer of 2021. We are pleased to announce that Jacob Hesner will be the Junior Golf Coordinator and will be a great asset to the Iowa PGA family.
Hesner is currently a Senior at The University of Iowa majoring in Marketing, with a minor in Sport and Recreation Management and a certificate in Event Management. Hesner graduates this coming May. Hesner played golf competitively throughout high school and college, and values integrity and sportsmanship that the game requires.
Hesner commented, “I was fortunate to participate in the Iowa PGA Junior Tour as a player, and I would love to be part of an organization that provides opportunities for junior golfers to learn the game such as I did.”
The Iowa PGA is excited to have Hesner on board and excited to see him grow as an individual as well as a team player.
