Walker Leads Round Two of the 91st Iowa Open-
Riverside, Iowa – Matthew Walker of Ottumwa, Iowa leads round two of the 91st Iowa Open presented by Riverside Casino and Golf Resort on Saturday, August 3 at Blue Top Ridge at Riverside. Walker turned in a 6-under-par round of 66 to lead round two – 66-66=132, 12 under par.
Walker carded birdies on holes 1, 3, 4, 7, 12 and 17. In second place is Carter Dill of Tampa, Florida with a round of 2-under-par 70 – 64-70=134, 10 under par.
Pro Senior Division is led by Chad Proehl of Urbandale, Iowa with rounds of 68-68=136, 8-under-par. In second place is Sean McCarty of Solon, Iowa with rounds of 71-69=140, 4-under-par.
Pro Super Senior Division is led by John Bermel of Cedar Falls, Iowa with rounds of 73-68=141, 3-under-par. Runner-up has two players tied at 4-over-par were Chuck Moran of Marshalltown, Iowa (78-70=148) and Marshall Gavre of Green Valley, Arizona (76-72=148).
Open Amateur Division is led by Josh Lundmark of Hinsdale, Illinois with rounds of 72-64=136, 8-under-par. Runner-up has two players tied at 1-under-par were Andrew Johannsen of Johnston, Iowa (72-71=143) and Brock Snyder of Ames, Iowa (71-72=143).
Open Senior Amateur Division has a two players tied for first place at 14-over-par were Mark Gambaiana of Des Moines, Iowa (81-77=158) and Scott Schultz of Muscatine, Iowa (83-75=158).
Open Super Senior Amateur Division is led by Bill Corrick of Fairfield, Iowa, 79-79=158, 14-over-par.
The final round of the 91st Iowa Open takes place tomorrow at Blue Top Ridge. Groups will start off Numbers 1 and 10 at 7:30 a.m. For pairings and tee times, click here.
