Vest Wins Iowa PGA Senior Match Play-
Riverside, Iowa– The Iowa PGA Senior Match Play was a season long event. Tracy Vest of Lake House Sports in Coralville, Iowa won the Iowa PGA Senior Match Play by defeating Jeff Schmid of Brown Deer Golf Club in the final match, 4 & 3. Click here for results.
Here is Vest’s path through the Senior Match Play Brackets.
Vest faced PGA Life Member Kris Smith in round one and defeated him 5 & 4 in the West Bracket. He then went on to knock off Chris Black of Hickory Grove Golf Course, 1 up. In the third round of the West Bracket, Vest took on Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Club and defeated him 1 up. The final championship match had Vest defeating Schmid, 4 & 3 to win the 2024 season long Iowa PGA Senior Match Play Championship.
This was Vest’s first Senior Match Play Championship Title.
