Two-Way Tie for First at the Harris Golf Cars Pro-Facility-
Muscatine, Iowa – The teams of Adam Luehmann of Beaver Hills Country Club and his partner Jason Tresemer & Matt Erger of Airport National Golf Course and his partner Roger Hallquist both tied for first place at the Harris Golf Cars Pro-Facility Monday, August 24 at Geneva Golf & Country Club. Luehmann, Tresemer, Erger and Hallquist both turned in a team total of 6 quota points to both tie for first place.
Teams for Harris Golf Cars Pro-Facility were comprised of one PGA Professional and one Amateur competing in a team event Quota System.
In addition to the team event, the Iowa PGA Harris Golf Cars Pro-Facility featured individual competitions for the Open, Senior, Super Senior and Legends Divisions.
Two-way tie for first place in the Open Division between Jay Giannetto of Elmwood Country Club and Jeffrey Schmid of Brown Deer Golf Club. Giannetto and Schmid both turned in 3-under-par 68.
Schmid won the Senior Division. Schmid carded birdies on holes 8, 9, 11 and 17 including a bogey on hole 16.
John Bermel of Pheasant Ridge Golf Course won the Super Senior Division with a 1-over-par 72. Bermel carded birdies on holes 4 and 9 including bogeys on holes 3, 6 and 15.
Steve Hutton of Geneva Golf & Country Club won the Legends Division with 7-over-par 78. Hutton carded a birdie on hole 11 including bogeys on holes 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 14 and 17.
