Special Announcements
- Frisco, Texas – Two of our Iowa PGA Members will take on the 2023 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship at the PGA Frisco (May 25-28, 2023). Stay up to date with us as we keep everyone informed on where each of our Iowa PGA Members are at during the tournament. Jeff Schmid of Brown Deer Golf Club and Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Course will all participate. Bryan Luedtke of Bunker Links Golf Course is an alternate. Click here for results.
- Carroll, Iowa – One of twenty-three local Drive, Chip and Putt qualifiers was held at Carroll Country Club on Sunday, May 21. The finalists from these qualifiers will advance to the Sub-Regional Qualifier at either Bluetop Ridge in Riverside, Iowa or Glen Oaks CC in Des Moines, Iowa. These Sub-Regionals will be administered by Iowa PGA Staff. The Iowa PGA would like to thank PGA General Manager Heath Henrich and the entire Carroll Country Club and all the volunteers for hosting and assisting with this event. Click here for results.
- Ames, Iowa – The Iowa PGA partnered with the Iowa High School Athletic Association for the Boys State Golf Championships on May 22-23, 2023. Final round was completed at the Ames Golf & Country Club for 1A, Coldwater Golf Links for 2A and Veenker Memorial Golf Course for 3A. Judd Jirovsky of Grundy Center set a state record for the lowest score in a state tournament at 131. Click here for results.
