Team Miller and Schrage Win Harris Golf Cars Pro-Facility-
Riverside, Iowa – Allan Miller and Ernie Schrage of Airport National Golf Course won the Harris Golf Cars Pro-Facility Monday, August 25 at Blue Top Ridge Golf Course. Miller and Schrage turned in a team total of 18 quota points to capture the win.
Teams for Harris Golf Cars Pro-Facility were comprised of one PGA Professional and one Amateur competing in a team event Quota System.
JR Millar and Ben Olson of Lake Bracken Country Club turned in a team total of 9 quota points to finish for second place.
In addition to the team event, the Iowa PGA Harris Golf Cars Pro-Facility featured individual competitions for the Open, Senior, Super Senior and Legends Divisions.
Sean McCarty of Brown Deer Golf Club won the Open Division and Senior Division with a 4-under-par 68. McCarty carded birdies on holes 1, 3, 4, 7, 10, 13 and 17 including bogeys on holes 6, 11 and 14.
John Bermel of Pheasant Ridge Golf Course won the Super Senior Division with a 2-over-par 74. Bermel carded birdies on holes 3, 7 and 16; bogeys on holes 8, 9 and 13 including a double bogey on hole 1.
PGA Life Member Larry Castagnoli won the Legends Division with a even-par 72. Castagnoli carded birdies on holes 3, 8 and 13 including bogeys on holes 1, 5 and 12.
