Team Lubs Leads 24th Iowa PGA Las Vegas Pro-Am After Round 1-
Henderson, Nevada – Iowa PGA Member Nate Lubs and his team JP Gordon, Andrew Thomas, Steve Plummer and Brian Persson sit atop the leaderboard following round one of the 24th annual Iowa PGA Las Vegas Pro-Am presented by Adidas. Round one was held at DragonRidge Country Club in Henderson, Nevada.
Lubs, of Gates Park Golf Course, and his team accumulated 23 quota points in round one and currently have a eight-point lead over the second-place team. Round one-point quotas were determined by averaging the point totals an amateur has scored for the most recent six rounds within the past five years.
The teams of Matt Erger of Airport National Golf Course and his team of Jon Maloney, Roger Hallquist, Kirk Hoeppner and Tracy Sankot; Ben Montgomery of Airport National Golf Course and his team of Jeffrey Wilkins, Tyson Sprouse, Rob Schneider and Phillip Hansen both accumulated 15 quota points in round one.
The 24th Annual Iowa PGA Las Vegas Pro-Am moves to Southern Highlands GC tomorrow for round two. The second round is a shotgun start. The Iowa PGA will provide coverage of 24th Annual Iowa PGA Las Vegas Pro-Am on iowapga.com and on its social media platforms all week.
