Team Fisher/Stout Win Pro-Scratch & Team Lawrence/Painter Win Pro-Senior Scratch-
Waterloo, Iowa – Darin Fisher of The Preserve on Rathbun Lake and JJ Stout won the Pro-Scratch; David Lawrence of Davenport Country Club and Richard Painter won the Pro-Senior Scratch on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Sunnyside Country Club.
 
Teams for Pro-Scratch/Pro-Senior Scratch were comprised of one Professional and one Amateur competing in an 18-hole, Team 1 Best Ball of 2 gross.

Fisher and Stout turned in a 9-under-par round of 63 to capture the Pro-Scratch win. They made an eagle on hole 11 and birdies on holes 3, 6, 7, 10, 12, 15 and 17 in their round of 63. There was a three-way tie for second place with an 8-under-par round of 64. The teams of Jay Giannetto and Sam Zoske of Elmwood Country Club, Fisher and Jeff Osby and Chris Black and Logan Schweinefus of Hickory Grove Golf Course were at 64.
 
Lawrence and Painter won the Pro-Senior Scratch with an 8-under-par round of 64. They made an eagle on hole 12 and birdies on holes 1, 5, 6, 11, 13 and 14 in their round of 64.  There was a two-way tie for second place with a 7-under-par round of 65. The teams of Fisher and Doc Bates and Sean McCarty and Derek Birt of Brown Deer Golf Club were at 64.
 
In addition to the team event, the Iowa PGA Pro-Scratch/Pro-Senior Scratch featured individual competitions for the Open, Senior and Super Senior Divisions.

Clark Smith of Kate Lord/AHEAD claimed first place in the Open Division with a 7-under-par round of 65. Smith carded an eagle on hole 6 and birdies on holes 3, 11, 12, 15 and 16. Fisher turned in a 5-under-par round of 67 for a second-place finish.

There was a two-way tie for first place in the Senior Division with Judd Gibb of Hanson’s Custom Golf and Jeff Schmid of Brown Deer Golf Club both turned in 3-under-par round of 69. Gibb carded an eagle on hole 6, birdies on holes 2, 10 and 18 including bogeys on holes 12 and 17. Schmid carded birdies on holes 1, 11, 13 and 15 with a bogey on hole 9.

Life Member Larry Castagnoli claimed first place in the Super Senior Division with a 2-over-par round of 74. Castagnoli carded birdies on holes 7, 12 and 18; bogeys on holes 4, 6 and 15 including a double bogey on hole 8. There was a two-way tie for second place with Ken Schall of Ken Schall Performance Studios and Terry Anderson of Elks Country Club both turned in 3-over-par round of 75.
