Team Bermel Win Iowa PGA Pro-Select–
Ankeny, Iowa – John Bermel and Jacob Bermel both of Pheasant Ridge Golf Course won the Iowa PGA Pro-Select, Monday, August 22 at Briarwood Golf Club. Bermel’s turned in a 13-under-par round of 30-31-34=95 to capture the win.
Teams for Iowa PGA Pro-Select were comprised of two Iowa Section PGA Professionals competing in a 27 Holes, 9 Holes scramble, 9 holes best ball and 9 holes alternate shot.
Sean McCarty and Jeff Schmid both of Brown Deer Golf Club came in second place with 11-under-par 97.
The Iowa PGA would like to thank PGA General Manager John Dinnebier, PGA Head Professional Chad Callan and the entire Briarwood Golf Club staff for hosting this event.
