Team Baker/McCain Wins Iowa PGA Kick-Off Fourball-
Silvis, Illinois – Dillon Baker of Elev8 Golf Club and Dominic McCain of Golf Club Fitting Specialist at Golf Coralville won the Iowa PGA Kick-Off Fourball on Monday, April 6 at TPC Deere Run. The team of Baker and McCain turned in a team score of 4-under-par 67.
Teams comprised of two Iowa PGA Professionals. 18-Hole Team Event – 1 Best Ball of 2. Individual Open, Senior, Super Senior and Legends Divisions.
In addition to the team event, the Iowa PGA Team All Pro featured individual competitions for the Open, Senior, Super Senior and Legends Divisions.
Matt Jennings took home first place in the Open Division with a round of 2-under-par 69. Jennings turned in birdies on holes 8, 9, 15 and 17 including bogeys on holes 11 and 18.
Jeff Schmid of Brown Deer Golf Club took home first place in the Senior Division with a round of even-par 71. Schmid turned in birdies on holes 7 and 8 including bogeys on holes 9 and 10.
PGA Life Member Dave Ranney took home first place in the Super Senior Division with a round of 13-over-par 84. Ranney turned in a birdie on hole 2; bogeys on holes 1, 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15 and 16 including a double bogey on hole 5.
PGA Life Member Joe Butler took home first place in the Legends Division with a round of 6-over-par 77. Butler turned in birdies on holes 1, 12 and 13; bogeys on holes 3, 4, 5, 8, 13, 15 and 16 including a double bogey on hole 18.
