Sutton Champion of the Iowa PGA Match Play Championship-
Muscatine, Iowa – The Iowa PGA Match Play Champion is Davis Sutton of Cedar Rapids Country Club. The event was held on Tuesday, May 19 at Geneva Golf and Country Club

Players were seeded according to the Master Points List kept by the Iowa PGA and player reputation.

Sutton won the Iowa PGA Match Play by defeating Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Club in the final round, 5 and 4.

Here is Sutton’s path through the Match Play Brackets.

Sutton in the first round he defeated Casey Harvey of the Iowa PGA Section, 8 and 7. He faced Bryan Luedkte of Bunker Links Golf Course, 1 up. In the quarter-finals Sutton took on Travis Hall of Dubuque Golf and Country Club, conceded. In the Semi-finals Sutton took on Zach Steffen of Terrace Hills Golf Course, 3 & 2. The final Championship match had Sutton defeating Proehl, 5 and 4 to win the 2026 Iowa PGA Match Play Championship.
