Steffen Wins Iowa PGA Assistant Match Play-
Riverside, Iowa– The season long Iowa PGA Assistant Match Play Champion was crowned. Zach Steffen of Terrace Hills Golf Course won the Iowa PGA Assistant Match Play by defeating Ben Montgomery of Airport National Golf Course in the final match, 2 & 1.

Steffen earned a first-round bye. He faced Tommy Vining of Hyperion Field Club in the second round, 23 holes. He then went on to knock off Jacob Bermel of Pheasant Ridge Golf Course, 6 & 4. The final Championship match had Steffen defeating Montgomery, 2 & 1 to win the 2026 season long Iowa PGA Assistant Match Play Championship.
This was Steffen’s second Assistant Match Play Championship Title.
