The Iowa PGA Spring Education, Business Meeting and Pro-Pro will be hosted on Monday, April 20 at Elmcrest CC in Cedar Rapids. See details below and register as soon as possible or by Tuesday, April 14 by 11:59 p.m. If you only want to attend the education and meeting in the morning you can call the office and register after April 13 if there is still availability. Feel free to call the office with any questions.

To continue the partnership between the Iowa PGA Section, Foundation and American Cancer Society, Members and Associates are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item, laundry supplies (detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, etc.) and other cleaning supplies (see wish list by clicking link below) that will be gifted to Hope Lodge Iowa City.

Golf Format:
18-Hole, 2 Best Ball of 4 Gross, Team Event Only – no individual event associated with this tournament. You can choose one partner and the other two partners will be random to promote networking! This event will also have two flights and both will have payouts.
PLAYER OF THE YEAR STATUS:
Non-point Event – All participants will receive 10 Player of the Year points for participating.
PROFESSIONAL ELIGIBILITY:
Professionals must be in an active classification and in good standing with the PGA of America.
EXTRA CHARGES:
$45 per person for the meeting and $20 per person for golf includes cart and range fees. Extra charges are included in the entry fee.

Kevin Scott, PGA Chief Technology Officer

Kevin J. Scott is an AI engineer who has served as the Chief Technology Officer and CIO at PGA of America for the past 9 years. He led the transformation of the organization’s tech, digital, product, and IT areas while creating PGA’s consumer digital products and bringing IT and Digital organizations together as a customer-centric, product-minded organization.
Prior to his role at PGA of America, Kevin worked at ESPN and Nokia, holding various leadership positions across mobile, digital, and innovation. He led the creation of ESPN’s streaming, interactive, social, and digital products. He also advises and serves on boards of several technology and philanthropic organizations.
Kelly J. Williams, PGA General Manager, Greenbrier Golf & Country Club – Lexington, Kentucky

Kelly Williams is a highly respected PGA of America Professional and the General Manager of Greenbrier Golf & Country Club in Lexington, Kentucky. A lifelong advocate for growth, education, and professionalism in golf, Kelly began his career at Greenbrier as a teenager and rose through every level of the operation before becoming General Manager in 2007. Under his leadership, the club has undergone over $10 million in improvements without member assessments, experienced record growth in membership, and cultivated a thriving, family-oriented culture both on and off the course.
A past President of the Kentucky PGA Section, Kelly also served on the PGA of America’s National Board of Directors as the District 10 Director from 2016 to 2019. His contributions to PGA education and professional development are extensive—having chaired the Kentucky PGA Education Committee, launched mentoring and leadership initiatives across the Section, and supported Eastern Kentucky University’s PGM Program as a mentor and advisor. His innovative approach to leadership earned him multiple honors from both the Kentucky PGA and the PGA of America, including Kentucky PGA Golf Professional of the Year (2013), multiple Professional Development Awards, and the prestigious 2024 PGA of America Golf Executive of the Year Award.
Since receiving that national recognition, Kelly has traveled to PGA Sections across the country, presenting on the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence in the golf industry. His sessions help PGA Professionals understand how emerging technologies can streamline operations, enhance member engagement, and improve decision-making both on and off the golf course. His forward-thinking yet practical approach bridges tradition and innovation—empowering professionals to lead with vision, adaptability, and authenticity.
Today, Kelly continues to serve as a mentor, leader, and educator in the PGA community. His work reflects an enduring belief that excellence in golf management begins with people—cultivating teams, relationships, and opportunities that strengthen the game for generations to come.
