Round Two Results of the 2023 PGA Professional Championship-
Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico – Six of our Iowa PGA Members will take on the 2023 PGA Professional Championship at the Twin Warriors & Santa Ana Golf Clubs (April 30 – May 3).

Proehl’s first round he carded birdies on holes 5, 6, 12 and 17 including bogeys on holes 1, 2, 9 and 14 which placed him T58 going into the third round of play with even-par round of 72.

Fisher, Montgomery, McCarty, Erger and Giannetto missed the projected cut 3-over-par.

Fisher’s first round he carded birdies on holes 6 and 18 including bogeys on holes 9, 13 and 14 which places him T186 going into the third round of play with 1-over-par round of 73.

Montgomery’s first round he carded birdies on holes 9 and 15 including bogeys on holes 1, 4, 11, 14 and 17 which places him T203 going into the third round of play with 3-over-par round of 75.

McCarty’s first round he carded a birdie on hole 6; bogeys on holes 1, 11, 12 and 17 including double bogeys on holes 3 and 7 which placed him T234 going into the third round of play with 9-over-par round of 81.

Erger’s first round he carded a birdie on hole 1; bogeys on holes 12 and 15 including double bogeys on holes 2 and 10 which places him T260 going into the third round of play with 6-over-par round of 78.

Giannetto’s first round he carded birdies on holes 2, 3, 8, 9, 13 and 18; bogeys on holes 4, 6, 7, 12 and 16 including double bogey on holes 5 and 14 which placed him T274 going into the third round of play with 3-over-par round of 75.
