Round One Results of the 2023 PGA Professional Championship-

Jay Giannetto of Elmwood Country Club is joined by Sean McCarty of Brown Deer Golf Club, Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Course, Darin Fisher of The Preserve on Rathbun Lake, Matt Erger or Airport National Golf Complex and Ben Montgomery of Airport National Golf Complex all participated.
McCarty’s first round he carded birdies on holes 2, 3 and 18; bogeys on holes 12 and 16 including a double bogey on hole 11 which placed him T68th going into the second round of play with 1-over-par round of 73.
Proehl’s first round he carded birdies on holes 3, 5, 15 and 17; bogeys on holes 2, 12, 14 and 18 including a double bogey on hole 9 which placed him T104th going into the second round of play with 2-over-par round of 74.
Montgomery’s first round he carded birdies on holes 11, 12 and 13; bogeys on holes 2, 7, 9, 10, 15 and 18 including a double bogey on hole 14 which places him T210 going into the second round of play with 5-over-par round of 77.
Fisher’s first round he carded birdie on hole 8; bogeys on holes 9 and 14 including double bogeys on holes 10 and 16 which places him T231st going into the second round of play with 6-over-par round of 78.
Erger’s first round he carded bogeys on holes 8, 15, 16 and 17 including a double bogey on hole 14 which places him T231st going into the second round of play with 6-over-par round of 78.
Giannetto’s first round he carded birdie on hole 13; bogeys on holes 2, 3, 5 , 6, 7, 9, 12 and 16 including double bogey on hole 18 which placed him T296th going into the second round of play with 10-over-par round of 82.
