Proehl Wins Iowa PGA Professional Championship-
Pleasant Valley, Iowa – Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Club won the Iowa PGA Professional Championship on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Davenport Country Club and will lead a total of Four Section PGA Professionals to compete on April 26-29, 2027, in the PGA Professional Championship. Proehl turned in a total score of 4-under-par 71-69-66=206 to capture the win and he also won the Senior Division.
Proehl is joined by Sean McCarty of Brown Deer Golf Club, Jeffrey Schmid of Brown Deer Golf Club and Matt Erger of Airport National Golf Course.
Alternates in order Jay Giannetto of Elmwood Country Club, Jacob Bermel of Pheasant Ridge Golf Course, Dillon Baker of Elev8 Golf Club.
The Super Senior Division was won by Jeff Smith of Harvest Point Golf Course turned in a total score of 12-over-par 76-71-75=222 to capture the win of the Super Senior Division.
