Proehl Sitting Tied for 5th Place at the Stroke Play Championship – Round 1 Results
Riverside, IA – Four of our Iowa PGA Professionals Sean McCarty of Brown Deer Golf Club, Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Course, Aaron Krueger of Wakonda Club and Chris Black of Hickory Hills Golf Course are competing in the Stroke Play Championship at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Proehl’s first round he carded birdies on holes 6, 10, 13 and 16. Proehl’s first round total 35-32=67 (-4), tied for 5th place going into the second round of play. His tee time for Monday, February 8 on the Wanamaker Course at 9:20 AM.
Black’s first round he carded birdies on holes 6, 9, 10 and 11 including bogeys on holes 2, 4, 7 and 15. Black’s first round total 37-34=71 (E), tied for 37th place going into the second round of play. His tee time for Monday, February 8 on the Wanamaker Course at 7:40 AM.
McCarty’s first round he carded birdies on holes 13 and 14 including bogeys on holes 7, 10, 15 and 16. McCarty’s first round total 37-36=73 (+2), tied for 65th place going into the second round of play. His tee time for Monday, February 8 on the Wanamaker Course at 7:30 AM.
Krueger’s first round he carded birdies on holes 9 and 18; bogeys on holes 5, 8, 12, 12 and 16 including double bogeys on holes 1 and 13. Krueger’s first round total 39-40=79 (+7), tied for 125th place going into the second round of play. His tee time for Monday, February 8 on the Ryder Course at 8:40 AM.
