Proehl Places T21st: Stroke Play Championship Recap –
Port St. Lucie, Florida – One of our Iowa PGA Professionals Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Course competed in the Stroke Play Championship at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida on February 8-10, 2026.
Proehl’s two-day total rounds were 69-74-73=216, even-par and T21st place.
Round 1
Proehl’s first round he carded birdies on holes 5, 9, 13 and 16 including a bogey on hole 17.
Round 2
Proehl’s second round he carded birdies on holes 7, 8 and 16; bogeys on holes 9 and 13 including a double bogey on hole 12.
Round 3
Vest’s final round he carded a birdie on hole 5 including bogeys on holes 10 and 16.
