Dave Ranney of Lamoni Golf & Country Club and Sean McCarty of Brown Deer Golf Club fired a third round 64 on the Wanamaker Course to sit in a tie for 8th place.  Their round included two-hole outs came from the fairway.  McCarty lofted a 5-iron from 185 yards out on the par-5 seventh hole to score the rare double eagle.  So rare that it was McCarty’s fifth double eagle, including one on a par 4.  Ranney holed out a pitching wedge from 135 yards on the par-4 tenth hole.  Their round included the very rare albatross (double eagle), one eagle, four birdies and one lone bogey.  The pair sits at twenty-one under par (67-64-64=195) and tee off at 9:17 am.
