ANKENY, Iowa – The Iowa PGA hosted the Pro-Assistant/Pro-Pro at Briarwood Golf Club in Ankeny, on Monday afternoon. For the full leaderboard from the round please click here.
In the Pro-Assistant Division, John and Jacob Bermel from Pheasant Ridge GC and Steve Charters and Ben Montgomery tied for first place carding 8-under-par 64. Charters and Montgomery rattled home nine birdies this afternoon. In third place, the tandem from Airport National GC, Matt Erger and Dillon Baker scored 7-under-par 65. Erger and Baker finished tied for first in most birdies with nine.
In the Pro-Pro Division, Gregory Dingel and Chad Callan took first place by one stroke. Dingel and Callen shot 9-under-par while the Bermel's shot 8-under-par 64 with zero bogeys. Erger and Baker (-7) finished third.
