Naegel Leads Round Two of the 87th Iowa Open
Riverside, IA – Chris Naegel from Wildwood, MO leads round two of the 87th Iowa Open Saturday, August 1 at Blue Top Ridge at Riverside. Naegel turned in a 7-under-par round of 65 to lead at 16-under-par 128 heading into tomorrow's final round.
Naegel carded a bogey on hole 11 and had birdies on holes 3, 4, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15 and 18.
In second place is Justin Doeden from Prior Lake, MN as he carded birdies on holes 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15 and 17. Doeden turned in a 9-under-par round of 63. He sits at 12-under-par for the tournament.
Bryan Luedtke of Galesburg, IL leads round two in the Pro Senior Division with an even-par round of 72. Luedtke recorded bogeys on holes 6, 8, 15 and 18 with birdies on holes 1, 2, 12 and 16. Luedtke sits at even-par 144 after two days of the tournament.
Open Amateur Division is lead by Andrew O’Brien from Clive, IA with a round of 2-par round of 75. O’Brien recorded bogeys on holes 4, 5, 6, 10, 16 and 18 with birdies on holes 2 and 18. He leads going into tomorrow's Championship round at 2-under-par 142.
Open Senior Amateur Division is lead by Robert Jacobs from Valparaiso, IN with a round of 5-over-par round of 77. Jacobs recorded bogeys on holes 1, 2, 9, 11, 13, 14, 16 and 17 with birdies on holes 3, 2, and 15. He leads going into tomorrow's Championship round at 3-over-par 147.
The final round of the 87th Iowa Open takes place tomorrow at Blue Top Ridge. Groups will start off hole number 1 at 7:30 a.m. For pairings and tee times, click here.
The final cut for the Open Division was 4-over-par. The cut for the Senior Division was 15-over-par.
