Montgomery Leads National Car Rental Iowa Assistant PGA Professional Championship-
Riverside, Iowa – Ben Montgomery of Airport National Golf Complex leads the National Car Rental Iowa Assistant PGA Professional Championship on September 7, 2021, at Blue Top Ridge. Final round will be completed on September 9, 2021, and first tee times start at 8:00 am tomorrow, click here.
The top two of this event will qualify for the 45th National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Championship to be held on November 11-14, 2021 at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Montgomery carded birdies on holes 3, 4, 7, 8, 15, 16 and 17 including a bogey on hole 12 for his round of 6-under-par 66.
Adam Miller of Dubuque Golf & Country Club and Zach Steffen of Waveland Golf Club tied for second place with a first-round scores of 4-under-par 68.
