McMillan Won Iowa PGA Women’s Professional Championship-
Des Moines, Iowa – Morgan McMillan of Oneota Golf & Country Club won the Iowa PGA Women’s Professional Championship on Friday, September 16 at Des Moines Golf & Country Club. Format for today’s event is an 18-hole stroke play. McMillan turned in a winning total of 77, 5-over-par to capture the Iowa PGA Women’s Professional Championship.
 
McMillan carded birdies on holes 10 and 11 including bogeys on holes 2, 6, 13, 14, 15, 17 and 18. Runner-up Janet Rooney of Des Moines Golf & Country Club was runner-up, finishing at 78, 6-over-par.
 
The Iowa PGA would like to thank PGA General Manager Matt Ruehling, PGA Director of Golf Scott Howe, PGA Head Professional’s Janet Rooney and Don Winker, PGA Director of Instruction Mark Atchison, PGA Assistant Golf Professional Kevin Trobaugh and the entire staff and members of Des Moines Golf & Country Club for hosting this event.
