McCarty, Fisher and Proehl Lead in a Tie After Day One of the Iowa Senior PGA Professional Championship-
Muscatine, Iowa – Round one of the Iowa Senior PGA Professional Championship is led in a tie with Sean McCarty of Brown Deer Golf Club, Darin Fisher of William Penn University and Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Club on Thursday, August 21 at Geneva Golf & Country Club. The final round will be completed on August 22, 2025.
McCarty, Fisher and Proehl all turned into 3-under-par 68 to lead in a three way tie for first place going into the final round tomorrow.

Super Senior Division
The Super Senior Division is led by John Bermel of Pheasant Ridge Golf Course turned in a first-round total of 1-under-par 70.
The Top 4 finishers will advance to the 37th Senior PGA Professional Championship on April 16-19, 2026 at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida. Sean McCarty and Jeff Schmid are exempt into the Senior PPC and do not count towards our qualifying spots..
