Junior Academy Stroke Play Event- LEADERBOARD
Cedar Falls, Iowa – We had a tie for first place with Jordan Weber of Net Par and Jacob Bermel of Pheasant Ridge Golf Course tied in the Open Division Junior Academy Stroke Play event on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course. Weber and Bermel both turned in a 2-under-par round of 70.
There was also a team event where Professionals were paired with Junior Academy participants for a fun team event. The Junior Golfers played a best shot (scramble) and the Professionals played their own ball. The team score was the better score of the two scores (1-best ball).
Two teams tied for first place Weber and his partner Katelyn Covington; Todd Fowler of Golf Galaxy – Davenport and his partner of Luke Mueller both turned in the scores of 10-under-par 62 in the Junior Academy Stroke Play Team event.
Junior Academy Senior Stroke Play Event- LEADERBOARD
The Junior Academy Senior Stroke Play event took place on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course.
Jacob Bermel of Pheasant Ridge Golf Course won the Senior Division. Bermel turned in scores of 4-under-par 68.
John Bermel of Pheasant Ridge Golf Course won the Super Senior Division with a 1-under-par round of 71.
Gene Bears of Hillcrest Country Club won the Legends Division with a 26-over-par round of 98.
There was also a team event where Professionals were paired with Junior Academy participants for a fun team event. The Junior Golfers played shambles (choose best tee shot) and the Professionals played their own ball. The team score was two best balls of four.
Bermel and his team of Schlapia/Weber/Senne/Patel/Brumm won the Junior Academy Senior Stroke Play event by shooting 11-under-par 61.
