Jennings Wins NB Golf Cars/M&M Golf Cars October Shootout-
Altoona, Iowa – Matt Jennings of Bos Landen Golf Course wins the NB Golf Cars/M&M Golf Cars October Shootout Monday, 6, 2025 at Terrace Hills Golf Course.
Iowa PGA Professionals are competing in a 36-Hole Stroke Play with Open, Senior, Super Senior and Legends Divisions.
Jennings captures first place in the Open Division with a final round of 5-under-par 66. Jennings carded birdies on holes 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 and 16 including a bogey on hole 18.
Jeff Schmid of Brown Deer Golf Club captures first place in the Senior Division with a final round of 3-under-par 68. Schmid carded birdies on holes 1, 6, 11 and 16 including a bogey on hole 4. Schmid’s two-day total was 72-68=140, 2-under-par.
Jeff Smith of Harvest Point Golf Course captures first place in the Super Senior Division with a final round of 1-over-par 72. Smith carded birdies on holes 2, 13 and 16 including bogeys on holes 10, 12, 14 and 18.
PGA Life Member Larry Castagnoli captures first place in the Legends Division with a final round of 7-over-par 78. Castagnoli carded birdies on holes 6 and 16; bogeys on holes 3, 5, 11 and 17 including double bogeys on holes 13 and 15. Castagnoli’s two-day total was 71-78=149, 7-over-par.
