Iowa PGA Players of the Year Schmid and Ranney –
Schmid Wins Senior Player of the Year –
Jeff Schmid of Brown Deer Golf Club has won the 2025 Iowa PGA Senior Player of the Year with 2,379.17 points. This marks Schmid’s third Iowa PGA Senior Player of the Year.
Schmid competed in 20 Iowa PGA events this season where Senior Player of the Year points were awarded. Schmid had 16 top three finishes including wins in the Kick-Off Fourball, Veenker Pro Challenge, Denali’s on the River Pro-AM, Genesis Pro-AM – Davenport CC and Quakerdale Pro-AM.

Ranney Wins Super Senior Player of the Year –
PGA Life Member Dave Ranney has won the 2025 Iowa PGA Super Senior Player of the Year with 1,284.83 points. This marks Ranney’s first Iowa PGA Super Senior Player of the Year.
Ranney competed in 15 Iowa PGA events this season where Super Senior Player of the Year were awarded. Ranney had 15 top three finishes including wins in the Kick-Off Fourball, Pro-Pro, Veenker Pro Challenge, Senior Match Play Championship, Otter Creek Classic, Iowa PGA Professional Championship (Super Senior Division), Denali’s on the River Pro-Am and Junior vs. Senior Team Championship.
