Hannah Bermel Wins Professional Division at 100th Iowa Women’s Amateur-
Waterloo, Iowa – Hannah Bermel of Beaver Hills Country Club took home first place in the Professional Division for the 100th Iowa Women’s Amateur held at Sunnyside Country Club on July 22, 2024, in Waterloo, Iowa.
Bermel carded bogeys on holes 2, 7, 8, 9 and 16 including double bogeys on holes 11 and 18. She turned in a score of 9-over-par 81 to capture the win. Chelsea Soda of Echo Valley Country Club turned in a score of 11-over-par 83 to come in second place.
