Goudy Celebrates 25 Years with the Iowa PGA-
Riverside, Iowa – What a milestone for our wonderful, joyful Tess Goudy, PGA as she reaches her 25th year with the Iowa PGA on February 1, 2026. Hired by our late Executive Director Kirk Stanzel, Tess has done just about every job in the Iowa PGA. She served as an Administrative Assistant, Communications Director, Junior Golf Director, Assistant ED and Interim ED when Troy Christensen resigned in 2017.
She will also become a Quarter Century Member of the PGA of America having been elected to membership on 2/1/2001.
Highlights:
- Iowa PGA Golf Professional of the Year – 2019
- Numerous other awards.
- Helped start our golf pass in the early 2000s
- Expanded the Junior Tour (started in 1998), and the Pee Wee Tour shortly after
