2026 PGA Winter Championship –Quarter Century Championship –
Riverside, Iowa – Four Iowa PGA Professionals competed in the Quarter Century A Championship on January 7-8, 2026. Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Course, Judd Gibb of Hanson’s Custom Golf, Bryan Luedtke of Bunker Links Golf Course and Paul Del Vecchio of Crow Valley Golf Club all competed on January 7-8, 2026.

“My friend, Chad Proehl, won this division a few years ago, so I’ve been jealous of him,” Gibb said of his fellow Iowa resident. “I’ve always wanted to have my name up there in that clubhouse.”
Overall Group A (64 & Under) Judd Gibb finished 1st place, Bryan Luedtke finished T59th, Chad Proehl finished T59th and Paul Del Vecchio finished in 110th place.
The Iowa PGA Professionals also competed in smaller age groups.
Ages 55-59 (Chad Proehl, Judd Gibb, Paul Del Vecchio, Bryan Luedtke)
Gibb’s two-day total rounds of 69-67=136, 8-under-par and placed him in 1st place.
Luedtke’s two-day total rounds of 77-77=154, 10-over-par and place him in T25th place.
Proehl’s two-day total rounds of 76-78=154, 10-over-par and placed him in T25th place.
Del Vecchio’s two-day total rounds of 86-83=169, 25-over-par and placed him in 51st place.
The next event on the 2026 Winter Championship is the Senior Stroke Play Championship held on January 11-13, 2026.
