Genesis Pro-Am Recap-
Quad Cities – The Iowa PGA and Genesis Health Systems conducted a Pro-Am fundraiser at Davenport Country Club in Pleasant Valley, Iowa and TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois on Monday, August 5.
The format for each event will be 18-Hole, Individual Stableford with Open, Senior, Super Senior and Legends Divisions. Genesis will supply amateurs.
Davenport Country Club – Results
The team of Tracy Vest of Lake House Sports and his team of Josh Nelson, Jeff Ryan, Brad Treiber and John Weiman took home first place at the Davenport Country Club. Team Vest turned in 54 Stableford Points.
Jeff Schmid of Brown Deer Golf Club took home first place in the Open Division with 32 Stableford Points. Runner-up Ben Montgomery of Airport National Golf Course turned in 29 Stableford Points.
Schmid took home first place in the Senior Division. Runner-up had a tie with Chris Black of Hickory Grove Golf Course and Judd Gibb of Hanson’s Custom Golf both turned in 22 Stableford Points.
Jeff Smith of Harvest Point Golf Course took home first place in the Super Senior Division with 21 Stableford Points.
Life Member Larry Castagnoli took home first place in the Legends Division with 24 Stableford Points. Runner-up Life Member Gale Gilbert turned in 11 Stableford Points.
The Iowa PGA would like to thank PGA General Manager John Panek, PGA Head Professional Brian Delaney and the entire Davenport Country Club staff for hosting this event.
The team of Michael Scott of Crow Valey Golf Club and his team of Dean Kraus, Jordan Gillund, Pete Mullarkey and Adam Seitz took home first place at the TPC Deere Run. Team Scott turned in 56 Stableford Points.
Deon Brown of Galena Golf Club took home first place in the Open Division with 35 Stableford Points. Runner-up Zach Steffen of Terrace Hills Golf Course turned in 34 Stableford Points.
Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Club took home first place in the Senior Division with 25 Stableford Points. Runner-up John Bermel of Pheasant Ridge Golf Course turned in 24 Stableford Points.
Bermel took home first place in the Super Senior Division. Runner-up Life Member Jim Henry turned in 15 Stableford Points.
