Fisher, McCarty & Schmid Final Results of the 2021 PGA Professional Championship
Port St. Lucie, Florida – Three of our Iowa PGA Professional’s advanced to the final round of play on April 28, 2021 in Port St. Lucie, Florida at the PGA Golf Club. Jeff Schmid of Brown Deer Golf Club, Darin Fisher of The Preserve on Rathbun Lake and Sean McCarty of Brown Deer Golf Club all advanced to the final round.
In Fisher’s final round he carded birdies on holes 7, 10, 13 and 16 including bogeys on holes 1 and 15 which placed him tied for 29th place. Fisher’s four-day total 74-70-76-70=290, +3.
In McCarty’s final round he carded birdies on holes 2 and 12; bogeys on holes 8, 10 and 14 including a double bogey on hole 3 which placed him tied for 48th place. McCarty’s four-day total 73-68-77-76=294, +7.
In Schmid’s final round he carded birdie on hole 17; bogeys on holes 4, 5, 8, 14 and 18 including a double bogey on hole 7 which placed him tied for 65th place. Schmid’s four-day total 72-74-74-78=298, +11.
