Egly and Bidney Awarded the 2021 GRAA Growth of the Game Award
Riverside, Iowa – Two of our Iowa PGA Golf Professionals have been named to the 2021 GRAA Growth of the Game Teaching Professionals Elite Member Status. Sarah Bidney of Wakonda Club and Mark Egly of Des Moines Driving Range. Click here for the list of winners.
Sarah Bidney is the Director of Instruction at Wakonda Club in Des Moines, Iowa. She loves to teach and coach all ages. Sarah is now a 2-time GRAA Elite Member Status recipient as well as a 2018-2019 Golf Digest Best Young Teachers in America, 3-time Iowa PGA Section Teacher of the Year and 2-time Youth Player Development award recipient. She’s had a great impact on many families that she teaches year after year.

Mark Egly’s passion and dedication to his players is evident in the amount of time and effort he puts into his clinics, group and individual lessons. Egly has proven what it takes to be a great Teaching Professional in this industry and the Iowa PGA. His mission is to increase the number of students who start and then continue to develop their skills no matter what their level of play. Egly is a 4-time Player Development award recipient, 1-time Iowa PGA Professional Development and 6-time Iowa PGA Section Teacher of the Year. Egly has been an 11-time Golf Range Magazine award winner as a Top 50 Teacher and a Top 50 Growth of the Game award winner.
