Eastern Iowa Tourism With John Valliere –
Dyersville, Iowa– The Eastern Iowa Tourism Associates (EITA) had their annual meeting last week at the Field of Dreams Field in Dyersville, Iowa. This was Iowa PGA Member John Valliere’s first meeting as the President of the EITA Board. President Valliere will lead the Board over the coming months as they push for more state funding with all Tourism in the state. The EITA is a collection of Convention and Visitors Bureau marketing tourism and business development in the Eastern part of the State of Iowa.
Following the success of the first ever Major League Baseball (MLB) game between the Chicago White Sox and the New York Yankees the meeting and tour was hosted by the Field of Dreams. The entire property is a very special place and the history that was told by the great people that love that field was a treat to listen to. If you ever get the chance to visit in that area, please take the time. You will feel the magic that came out of that place and why so many visitors have visited that place since the movie was released.
