92nd Iowa Open Begins August 1-
Riverside, Iowa – The 92nd Iowa Open Presented by Riverside Casino and Golf Resort will be held on August 1-3 at Blue Top Ridge in Riverside. The tournament first began in 1927 and is in its 92nd year of competition. The event has a rich tradition of Champions, most famously, 2023 Ryder Cup Captain and two-time Major Championship Winner Zach Johnson is a two-time winner of the Iowa Open.
Past winners in the field include defending champion Matthew Meneghetti (2022, 2024), Sean McCarty (1997, 2005, 2008, 2013), Matthew Walker (2019) and Chris Naege (2020) Alex Schaake (2023), Jeffrey Schmid (2000) and Vince India (2009). This year’s field hosts a handful of previous champions as well as some of the most successful local golfers. 2024 Iowa Junior Open Champion Cody Weaver is also in the field.
Past winners in the Senior Division in the field include McCarty (2024), Judd Gibb (2023), Rob Riggins (2019), John Bermel (2018), Marshall Gavre (2013, 2012).
Past winners in the Super Senior Division in the field include Bermel (2022, 2024) and Gavre (2023).

The first round of the Iowa Open begins Friday, August 1 with groups teeing off of Numbers 1 and 10 at 7:30 a.m. Following the Second round on Saturday, the field will eventually be cut in the three divisions Open, Senior, Super Senior played and ties.
