2026 PGA Winter Championship – Senior Stroke Play Recap-
Riverside, Iowa – Six of our Iowa PGA Professional’s Chad Proehl of Des Moines, Iowa, Sean McCarty of Coralville, Iowa, Judd Gibb of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Bryan Luedtke of Galesburg, Illinois, PGA Life Member Paul Del Vecchio of Bettendorf, Iowa and PGA Life Member Jeff Smith of Oskaloosa, Iowa all competed in the Senior Stroke Play Championship at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Overall Group A (Ages 59 & Under) Judd Gibb finished in 3rd place, Chad Proehl finished in 10th place, Sean McCarty finished in T15th place, Bryan Luedkte finished in T26th place and Paul Del Vecchio finished in T113th place.
Overall Group B (Ages 60+) Jeff Smith finished in T37th place.
The Iowa PGA Professionals also compete within smaller age groups.
Ages 50-54 – McCarty
McCarty’s three-day rounds of 69-74-70=213, 1-under-par and placed him T6th place.
Ages 55-59 – Proehl, Gibb, Luedtke & Del Vecchio
Gibb’s three-day rounds of 68-73-65=206, 8-under-par and placed him 2nd place.
Proehl’s three-day rounds of 71-69-70=210, 4-under-par and placed him 8th place.
Luedtke’s three-day rounds of 69-76-71=216, 2-over-par and placed him in T16th place.
Del Vecchio’s three-day rounds of 84-83-79=246, 32-over-par and placed him in T68th place.
Ages 50-54 – Smith
Smith’s three-day rounds of 74-73-72-219=, 4-over-par and placed him in T9th place.
