17th Annual Iowa PGA Las Vegas Pro-Am Takes Place February 18th
Riverside, Iowa – The 17th Annual Iowa PGA Las Vegas Pro-Am takes place February 19-20 at the Cascata Club, Southern Highlands Country Club and Dragon Ridge Country Club. Teams will be comprised of one Iowa PGA Professional and four amateurs.
This tournament will follow an 18-hole team event quota system. Teams will receive one point for a bogey, two points for a par, four points for a birdie, eight points for an eagle and 12 points for a double eagle. The overall team winner is the team that accumulates the most points above their total quota.
Iowa PGA member, John Panek, and his team of Eric Langan, Tate Featherstone, Pat Wood and Pete Stopulos will look to defend their title as Las Vegas Pro-Am Champions. Panek and his team register 18 points over their quota in 2018 to claim the victory.
This three-day tournament will feature a different course each day, starting with Cascata Club on February 19. The second round will be played at Southern Highlands Country Club and the final round will be played at Dragon Ridge Country Club.
