Huge thanks to the Principal Charity Classic – Title Sponsor of the 2016 Iowa PGA Junior Tour

The Iowa PGA would like to give a big thanks to Jon Allaman and the Principal Charity Classic for their title sponsorship of the 2016 Iowa PGA Junior Tour! This is the seventh consecutive year that the Principal Charity Classic has been the title sponsor of the Junior Tour! They sponsored every Major, Ace, Eagle, and Birdie event this entire season. With support and sponsorship of corporations like the Principal Charity Classic, the Iowa Junior Tour continues to grow and be successful! This season we were able to offer more tournament opportunities than ever before! Thank you Principal Charity Classic for your support of the 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and now 2016 Iowa Junior Tour!

The Principal Charity Classic is an exciting, family-friendly event that contributes greatly to the economic vitality and quality of life in Central Iowa. The event attracts a strong field of professional players such as John Daly, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, Mark Calcavecchia, Jay Haas, Fred Funk and many more. Massive galleries lend a level of excitement that makes this tournament one of the finest stops on the PGA TOUR Champions schedule. Best of all, the Principal Charity Classic serves as a catalyst in raising money for Iowa non-profit organizations supporting children. In 2016, the Principal Charity Classic raised a record-breaking $2,053,725 for Iowa children’s charities, bringing the tournament’s charitable giving total to nearly $10 million in 10 years
