What was your motivation to become a PGA Professional?
I emulated the PGA Profession since childhood being raised on a golf course.  It was always my dream to follow in the footsteps of the PGA Professionals who I worked for.  I was able to accomplish this and have been able to give something back to the game which has meant so much in my life.

What is your specialty in the golf business?
I enjoy being creative with member events and competitions and love to organize and implement programs for juniors.

Please list any accomplishments (Awards, Certifications, and Tournaments.)

2005 Iowa PGA Assistant Golf Professional of the Year, 2009 Iowa PGA Junior Golf Leader of the Year, 2010 Iowa PGA Junior Golf Leader of the Year

What was your greatest moment in golf?

It’s a close call between the day I was elected to PGA Membership and the day I finally beat my father on the golf course.

What or who has had the greatest impact on your career?

I have been very fortunate to have worked for two great PGA Members (John Dinnebier and Patrick Kilbride) and they have been outstanding mentors and role models.

Besides golf, what else do you enjoy?

I enjoy spending time with my family and following all sports, especially Hawkeye football.

If you could play any golf course in the world, which one would it be and who would complete your foursome?
Augusta National with Jack, Arnie and Bubba Watson!

If you could give lessons to anyone in the world who would it be and what advice would you give?

Iowa Football Coach Kirk Ferentz.  Always remember to have fun and understand how fortunate you are to have the ability and time to enjoy such a wonderful game.

What is your favorite golf instruction tip?

Keep it simple, especially with beginning golfers.  A correct grip,
