Warrior Run Golf Course – Norwalk, IA

Warrior Run  Golf Course hosted the fifth local qualifier for the National Drive, Chip & Putt Championship, sponsored by USGA, the Masters Foundation, and the PGA of America. The is the first step in the National championship – winners from the local events will compete in the sub-regional. The top players from the sub-regional will advance to the regional event at Chaska, MN in September. Then, the winners from each division at the regional event will compete for the Championship at Augusta National starting off the Masters weekend in April 2017!

 Over 50 juniors competed in the 3 different skills – driving, chipping, and putting. The top 3 juniors in each division advance to the sub-regional at Des Moines Golf and Country Club on August 15th. 

Thank you to Warrior Run Golf Course Head PGA Professional Carol Nitzschke-Henrich, Director of Golf Mark Burke, Katelynn Hogenson and Bill Dickens with the Iowa Golf Association and all the staff and volunteers for making this local qualifier a success!
