2014 Iowa PGA Challenge Sponsored By Harris Golf Cars & Oakley Final Results

Harris_OakleyThe 2014 Iowa PGA Challenge Sponsored By Harris Golf Cars and Oakley is complete with Darin Fisher, Head PGA Professional at The Preserve on Rathbun Lake in Moravia, Iowa and Micah Destival of Dike, Iowa both being crowned Co-Champions.  This season long event is meant to celebrate the beautiful and memorable holes of the golf courses played throughout the Iowa PGA tournament season.  Iowa PGA Members and Apprentices were eligible to win prize money once they had played in a minimum of six events designated on the Iowa PGA Challenge schedule.

In 2014, 16 Iowa PGA tournaments were featured in this event and the Iowa PGA Challenge hole was picked by the host PGA Professional.  Players were required to play at least 6 of the 16 Iowa PGA Challenge holes throughout the season to compete for the title.  A player’s lowest score relative to par on the Iowa PGA Challenge hole, made during an official competition round, was recorded.

A player’s best 6 Iowa PGA Challenge holes made up his/her Iowa PGA Challenge score. The top ten players with the lowest cumulative score relative to par won prize money which was provided courtesy of Harris Golf Cars and Oakley.

The Iowa PGA would like to thank Harris Golf Cars (Scott Harris, Terry Harris, and Steve Haldeman) and Oakley (Rob Versteegh) for their continued support of this fun event.
